Rooms that hold light, and the hours that pass through them.
Terra is an interiors studio working in oak, lime plaster, and slow daylight. We design rooms with structure underneath and warmth on the surface, built to be lived in for decades.
Plate 01 · Maison Rivoli
An index of finished rooms.
Residences, ateliers, and one small hotel. Each room drawn, prototyped, and detailed in our own studio.
Structure first, then the softness that makes a room feel finished.
We measure the light
Before a single line is drawn, we sit in the space across a full day and chart where the sun lands, hour by hour. The plan follows the light, not the other way around.
Honest materials, aged well
Solid oak, lime plaster, brushed brass, and linen. We choose surfaces that earn their patina, so the room reads warmer in year ten than it did on the day we handed it over.
Joinery you can run a hand along
Every reveal, shadow gap, and door pull is detailed to the millimetre and made by hand. The structure stays invisible, the craft stays close enough to touch.
We design fewer rooms, and stay with each one longer.
Terra takes a handful of projects a year. We draw, prototype, and detail under one roof, then walk the site weekly until the last skirting is set. No outsourced renders, no template kitchens, no rooms we would not live in ourselves.
